Filmora Trendbook 01 stands as a design centric campaign, strategically showcasing the Filmora Vaporwave effect packs. The challenge at hand was to craft a campaign that seamlessly integrated the vaporwave style into the design elements, evoking the profound sense of nostalgia. The goal was to weave the vaporwave aesthetic into the web design and marketing materials, creating a visual narrative that resonates with the past while remaining visually captivating for the viewer.

Filmora is Wondershare’s leading video editing software and Filmstocks is its companion platform offering video effects, audio, and stock assets tailored for Filmora users. As Wondershare expanded its creative offerings, the Vaporwave campaign was launched as a design forward initiative to spotlight effect packs strategically presented on Filmstocks the platform to engage both new and existing users.

Situation

  1. Increase conversion and add to cart rate by creating campaign assets that appeal visually attractive and drive action.

  2. Build a campaign marketing page that clearly communicates the product value. The page needs to show off templates, filters, animations, and cross promote related products and other campaign.

  3. Create banners, UI/UX components, email designs, and social assets that feel cohesive, interactive, responsive, and inline with campaign brand guidelines.

Task

To achieve this:

  1. Designed the campaign home page to clearly show product features (templates, filters, animations) and link to related Wondershare products (Filmora, Filmstock, Democreator).

  2. Made sure navigation on the page is user friendly. Buttons to scroll to sections, minimizing confusion about what is clickable. Responsive design to support different devices.

  3. Created web ad banners, product banners, email (EDM) designs, and social media posts all echoing the vaporwave theme colours, imagery and visual style.

  4. Ensured all assets adhered to campaign brand consistency such typographic, colour, illustration / effect style; avoided confusing or misleading interactivity.
